Thank you for your welcome Atog,I have since rewired all the lights, and I have painted the decal on both sides of the van in gold, and I have changed the name I was going to call her.from Goldie to Budgie's Nest. Perhaps you can help,I want to run a wire from my acc. to the van for it has 12 volt globes in the van and I would like to run a radio CD player as well,I have a wire running from the van to the 2. 7. pin plugs, but not sure if I can run a wire to the ACC. fuse box or not. Any wires you run from the vehicle battery must be protected by a fuse at the battery end. If you connect to the accessories circuit, the accessories fuse should be OK, but best to independently fuse it. You can purchase 'in line' fuse holders. Couple of lights and a radio, say 4 amps or so. Run it in decent size wire, to minimise voltage drops. Use 6mm auto wire or around 10 B&S as a minimum. If you wish to run your 2 way absorption fridge on 12 volts whilst driving (ONLY) ... then this is an entirely different matter. You can run it off a cheap and cheerful 300 watt modified sinewave inverter, but you'll need 6B&S. This diagram is probably a bit excessive, but the principles may be applied.

Hi Peter Welcome aboard. Thats a cute van you have there. Like what you have done with the gold have you tackled the front yet? Sorry to hijack your thread.. but have to ask this one Hey wahroonga, why would you install a "smart 12 v charger" when your connecting you 12v van battery to your 12v car system??

Hi wahroonga thank you for the diagram,I was talking to my step son on Sunday, and he said he could do that for me, so next week end we will be getting it done.
Bobt I have just given the top of the front a little undercoat at this stage, for I have decided to paint the top of the Van,and just polish the rest of it. Thinking about painting the wheel rims Gold to match the decal on the sides.

HI Peter The gold on the wheel rims would certainly be different. Careful with the polish... I had a Viscount once and literally polished the paint off the top front bit where your paint is missing. I am now a lot more careful with the polish I use on my caravan

Hi Peter I discovered a little tooo late, the polish I was using had a little bit of cut contained in it. Now I am most careful to read the label and the small print before I buy.

Hello every one. I thought I would bring you up to date,on my Coronet,I have just had her registered and put in a new water tank, gave her a Polish put two spare Tye's on the back with covers, new brakes and brake cylinders, painted the decal Gold but I am not happy with that I am going to change it to black at a later time. Below are a few photo's of what she looks like, and I intend to paint on the spare toyer covers her name and she will be called Budgie's Nest. I did not have to do any thing inside maybe later change the curtains and put Venetian blinds at each end. Peter

I have not made any planes as yet for my wife Erica (Budgie) is not well and had to place her into the Hospital today. I took advantage of the great weather we had today and put the Coronet and Budgies Nest sign on the van. I would like to add if any one is wanting any signs made up of Franklin Viscount Sunliner and so on all of original designs I can let you know where you can have them made,as well as any thing you want done like my Budgies Nest. Hi Peter, you've done an amazing job on this van!! ;D ;D You'd swear it was just out of the showroom. Congratulations on making another Classic van come back "from the dead", as it were.
Hope all is going well with your wife in hospital, and that it's nothing too serious.
Chin up...
cheers, Al.
