I have a couple of friends big into veteran and vintage cars plus they would do something like that themselves.
It looks really good I was wondering if we had uncovered a hidden talent 😉

Maybe enough bespoke glass decorating can pay for the curved tool chest?

More dressing: Rather than splash out for 3 x rattle cans to paint the bottle, this cover $25. delivered is a pleasant 15 second alternative,

Our Kenny had ducks disease until yesterday, we replaced the spring hangers, picking up valuable height. Images before & after: Extra space gained (35mm) will stop the axle striking the chassis

G'day mustang, I would recommend you have your springs' set-up examined by a specialist - your photos show the rear hangers are at the wrong angle. If you want to have a read of the info I collected when I changed the springs on my vintage van, you can read this post in the thread about the restoration/rebuild of that van. Also read some of the posts below that linked post, and see what others discovered during their projects. cheers, Al.

Hi Al, Its on the agenda, perhaps they are original? The Kenny tows well & stops well, undulating road surface doesn't seem to cause any undue sway. Observation of rebound spring extension when we lengthened the hangers is consistent.

Here is the accessory box: Kennedy sign is Stainless Steel. Matching black decals will be attached to the Kennedy sign on top of the van. This week we have had the door off trying to reseal to an acceptable level. Boy... is the alignment fussy!!!! unlike the Vincent, just throw a few rivets at it & hey presto sealed!!!!

Does the door have much adjustment? Curves make things fussy (expensive to assemble). New box looks happy there!

I removed one spacer & replaced the sealing tape, its the small curves that present the problem of keeping everything straight???

Imagine a PIV unit ( Positively infinately variable ) 2 cones that mostly are used on electric motors where by changing height different virtual gear ratios are made. The curve of any radius that has hinge points means a lot of virtual leverage against lining up, compared with straight inline hinges, the complication being that any twist to line up neatly closed, in side view, may mean the door will bind trying to open, in real world 3D use. "timeconsuming"
