I love the club permit scheme, I have two cars on permits (one in each of my clubs) both are on 45 days and in a twelve month period I might use each of them about 14-16 times which for me is enough, if I only had the full rego option I would be down to one car and I would seriously wonder if I really needed that one, a lot of various businesses rely on restorers to keep them going and if we stopped overnight a lot of them would hurt.
I can only do formals/weddings for my immediate family, (no cousins) 15km radius from where kept, not to be used for transport, utter rubbish in Qld.
The price is too cheap $190 vs $1000.00, for full rego.
There should be an intermediate fee, for casual use.
Hi mustang, sorry for the late reply, I have just been very pre occupied with other things and very slack in even just looking at the site let alone posting anything, I'm in Vic and here we have no limitations on use other than we are not allowed to use our Club Permit cars for commercial gain and we can drive where ever we want, with our log books an entry runs from 12 midnight to 12 midnight if we are not back in the gate by then we need to fill in another entry, we are also allowed to drive them upto 50 metres from our front gate without an entry in the book, this allows people to park one in the street while they get another out, the cost down here for a 45 day permit is about $74.00 as for weddings I don't think there is any limitations there either other than the Financial gain thing, maybe you should consider moving south Ha Ha.
