83 windsor sunwagon

This is my wife and i 83 sunwagon windup camper i was a little worried about posting a camper as i no its not a caravan but its light as we tow with a 67 chev impala and its a little low with out any weight on the back so i had to try and keep the weight down . We did have a late 70s caravan but we sold it as it wasnt getting used much  as we had a ek holden at the time we had the van and it couldnt tow it so we sold the van and bought a camper trailer this is our camper we use to have and the ek holden 


And then on the 10th of November 2012 our world got changed for ever as we were a in 100km/h head on crash in the ek holden and my wife suffered a brain injury in the accident and has lost some use on her left side so we had to come up some thing better as the last time we used the camper trailer it took me 3 hours to pack it up as she couldnt help me any more. So we were plained the go away last november and we found the wind up camper forsale with all new canvas fitted a couple of months before by the old owners we bought it 2 weeks before we were going away so we got it home and gave it a really good clean and to make sure everything was road worthy and we packed up and headed of with the new camper and the chev in tow it was our first big tow with the van and the new car and back to were we had the accident 




so the
 trip was ok . Then we got home and decided to give it a little tidy up it was just going to paint the kitchen doors and the kitchen and do it in the van so took the door of and painted them and this is then end resuilt for a little tidy up 






so got the kitchen and all the walls painted so wasnt happy with hole the out side looked so it got a fresh paint on it to 



so got all this done and wasnt happy with the ceiling so it all got pulled down and a new ceiling went in 

And thats our windup camper i hope u like and i hope its not to long

Mate camper trailers are welcome here, we are a broad church so to speak. Great work on the Windsor, we use to have a Cub camper which I restored/recycled a few things over the 10+ years we own it, but after seeing a little van for sale some years back my heart was stolen there and then, broke our hearts to see the camper hooked up to another car and head out the driveway but we now have the caravan and are making new memories.

I have no experience with them at all, but it takes a lot of energy to heat water up.

Looking at the spec there are a couple of things to note. 1) It draws a lot of current - 14Amps - so make sure that your wiring is up to scratch. By the time you run a water pump and have some lights on, you'll be getting close to the 15A limit on a standard hook-up. While 14A seems like a lot, it is much less than most domestic instantaneous hot water services would use. A bit of googling suggests a small domestic system capable of warming 6 l/min (the lowest range of a 3 star water saving shower head) to 35°C would be about 40A

2) The ad says "The water temperature is opposite with water flow rate." Which I assume is code for "you can either have a warm dribble or a tepid flood".

They really need to give you some indication of how many litres per minute it can supply when heating cold water to a respectable temperature.
