Today we started the Chesney regal project  Finally arrived :-) :-) :-)  A quick high pressure spray and a cool suprize  Let's get started  Stripping her clean. What have I started lol :-) :-) :-) |

I'm not keeping count of the $$$$ we are spending on our van, when it's over and we head of on our first trip, I won't care what it cost me.

Week 2 More paint stripping   Cut out wood rot around door and 1 corner not 2 bad damage but might as well fix now lol  Got her a new wheel jack  Ordered her some new power brakes, hubs and new hitch Started sanding under frame not rusted but just giving her a re spray underneath She's coming along :-). I have a diary on "Vincent" & keep a log book on the Nautilus. When we sold our last Ultimate we had logged every kilometer, the buyer really enjoyed the fact I gave them a copy, which stated locations, fuel, weather, services etc. Showing good progress there Michael. |

Yes keeping record of cost but I don't want ti keep track of it lol. This is a family project so we are having fun with it. Caravan show Fri sat sun at gold coast will be having a good look.
Any opinions on stablizers, seen standard legs and drop downs haven't decided yet but did remove old ones 3.75 kgs each lol.

Had a slow start week 3 went to caravan show gold coast picked up some good ideas and dreams lol. So I decided to look at my roof vents today hmmm lost Alma the coating on top don't know how to fix at moment any ideas  Its still solid but we have 3 to fix. Continued sanding rails today as well no rust just clean up and paint |

After a holiday and a move back into the chesney regal project front windows out and a sand and minor patching  ready for a new coat of paint  vents off and resealed   fixing seals and new connectors  window plexiglass getting cut today and more sanding lol  |

Yes one side each weekend lol. Roof just had its second coat of sealer ready to paint tomorrow.
