Hi All, Just started the reno on our van. Ledge under rear window had been leaking an the chip board was very decayed. As first time caravan renovators we really arent sure of what we are doing but hopefully it will turn out ok. Hopefully it doesnt rain here anytime soon

Well the dreaded rain has appeared. Luckily hubby is a truckie & we had an old truck tarp lying around. Covered up the van's rear where the window has been removed. Now to source someone in our area who can replace all the windows with perspex.

Couple of more pics of the van would be nice. . What is the interior like? Any reason you're going with Perspex for the windows?

Hi Snoops Interior is a bit average....will put up some pics soon. We have read through quite a few posts in this site and gathered some excellent tips on renovating and Perspex seems to be a winner when it comes to windows. We need to replace the rounded ones and they are made from Perspex anyways. We have decided on using a tinted one and, as some of the glass ones need to be replaced due to cracks & all seals need replacing due to shrinkage, we figured it would be easier to do them all. Perspex will be a bit sturdier for our push out windows too.
