Thanks eggers! Plans are to get her back on the road. Interior has all cupboards but it missing the original stove and fridge. It is also missing the small bench seats that sat opposite the tale (the one that can be lowered to create another bed. It used to have 2 bunks with a small set of drawers between them the bunks slept 4 people but they have long since gone it seems . It has rot in one corner (that I know of and basically needs a good going over but structurally (underneath) it looks good. Tips on where to get internal goodies that I am missing are welcome! If I cant get them I will make myself and make it 2 single beds rather than 2 bunk beds. Would be able to get used 3 way fridge and a stove for no more than a grand I would say. Also would love to get a stone guard for the front window!

But your tare weight should include things like the spare wheel, the water tank but without water, and the gas bottle. Tare weights do not stay the same, every time you change or add or remove something that is attached or fitted in a caravan you change the Tare weight, oh and the awning or annex should also be on board when getting your tare weight. Another way to look at tare weight is think of what you get with a brand new caravan, how does it come out of the sales yard. Rego departments and/or engineers will give you your ATM after you get your tare weight.
cheers
