Thanks for that info Matt Shame I didn't know you lived near MB or we could have gone out to dinner or something What size is your TV now ? Plus we have been using my laptop to watch dvd's while away and it has shocking sound, so we bought a Bluetooth surround speaker from Dick Smith and it also has connections for audio plugs as well and that has great sound - fixed that issue. Plus it is rechargeable so no extra leads while in use. Cheers L The little TV is made by Pendo. You can get them from Target although we bought a factory refurbished one for a bit less. here is a link to the company info.... Pendo 18" TV/DVDLike the idea about using the bluetooth speaker. might have to look into that one.

Holiday Photos... just a couple though.
As promised, here are some holiday snaps... Rockhampton Botanical Gardens have an awesome Zoo. Some inhabitants are quick to play up to the camera.... Whilst in Cairns we had to do the scenic railway... Kuranda Railway Station looks like its straight out of a postcard. Here we're exploring around the Tully Gorge... Tully living up to its title of wettest town in Oz.... It bucketed down all day. This was at Bluewater RV rest stop, Just north of Townsville. Not a bad spot, despite the multitudes of "Wizz-Bangers", but dont park next to the blue marker posts that border the centre park. You will be woken at 3AM... Not by council rangers, but by the sprinklers hitting your van at full power. lol Trying to pinch the Big Mango at Bowen... The dead end of town.... Ravenswood Cemetery. Awesome little town though. Even though we stayed at the showgrounds, the publicans will let you park up out the back and so long as you spend a bit of money in the pub ie a few beers, they charge nothing for power or water, plus you can use the showers too. Early Morning start at Ravenswood Showgrounds..... Power/Water/Showers only $15 p/n The water is really soft here too so fill your tanks! Now its time to get into some maintenance before the next trip. The Gregory Development Road between Charters Towers and Emerald chewed up and spat out the old springs so its off to Brian at Trailers Now to get a new set of Semi-Offroad one fitted. The new solar setup had some limitations so another panel or two is going on the roof. And looking at fitting a grey water Tank. Some of the free camp spots we went to required grey water to be contained. I used an old 20lt jerry can and connector hose, but I might upgrade the current water tank and use the old one as a grey water holding tank. More photos to come once the next lot of work is done......till next post!
