Peter, you could probably fill that gap in the bottom left corner with an acrylic gap filler (eg. No More Gaps) and smooth it over with a trowel or something. Then you can paint over it. Bunnings have lots of vents to choose from ( vents ). Depends on the size of the hole you've cut. You might have to cut another square of ply to fit over the hole you've cut already, and that'll allow you to fit a slightly smaller vent if you can't find one that fits exactly the hole you've got there. cheers, Al.

Thanks Al. i didnt think of Bunnings, great place to shop As far as the gap goes on the window, could i mix up saw dust and glue and put it in there and sand it Im putting Esterpol Satin on the ply and on the cupboards Dou you think that will work regards Peter Al. how do i mark a photo like you did with the Link Box for me

Nup, because once you apply the Estapol to it, it will look heaps darker than the surrounding ply. If the gap is noticeable now, it will be 10 times more noticeable after the Estapol is applied to the sawdust.
You might have to learn to live with the gap. I can't think of any easy fix that would get you out of trouble, other than trying to force the plastic trim into the curve and close that gap. Maybe if you could force the trim a couple of mm to cover the gap, that might look a lot more presentable. You'd have a bit more gap showing between the inside of the cover strip and the aluminium window, but that wouldn't be as noticeable as the gap you've got in the ply.
Not sure what you mean by "how do i mark a photo like you did with the Link Box for me". Do you mean how do you find that photo easily in the future?
cheers, Al.

G'day Peter, A rivet. Looks like this... Just make sure you put sealant around the rivet to block up any holes there, otherwise water will find its way into the "link box" and run down the winder arm into the caravan. The link box is the black plastic thing in my photos. Yours will probably be grey. cheers, Al. Thanks Al, for your in put, yeah might try pulling it over a bit to try and hide it, hopefully it works As far as photo goes, ive seen people put up a pics, but have high lighted the area in red to explain what there talking about, as you did with this one Regards Peter

Hey Pete I don't know if Qld regos are the same as Vic but here we have to get a weighbridge docket for rego, is it the same there?. Just a suggestion if it is same keep in mind if your van is incomplete inside when you get it weighed, you are better off throwing a few bags of concrete etc in to allow for adding completed bits such as benchtops etc. To explain it better if you don't do this then when you finish the van you're payload will be less as you added more weight to tare after weighbridge docket. Just something to keep in mind mate

Gday mate sounds and looks like its coming along nicely. The paint I used was kill rust white, not a cheap exercise but least I know it has better protection from the rust.

Wondered what happened to you, Peter. Thought it might have been too cold where you live to be doing anything on old caravans. Sorry to hear Yvonne is not well, and hope she is on the mend real soon.
cheers, Al.
