Thanks for you're assurance on the Coaster making the grade O.K. Barkpaint. I just wonder what the highway is like in the Middle of Winter, I see that chains are a must at that time. It appears that by the time we make it into Victoria, it will be to late for the Autumn Festival at Bright, so we might just go as far as it takes to have a good look at the Snow, and not actually go into it, time will tell. Yep, we have plenty of woollies alright, and after a full week's work, I now have the heater working like a dream, damn pity they didn't leave a couple of Japs in the glove box, just to use them to crawl under the Coaster and thread that heater hose to the back of the motor, " Boy" what a job that was, plenty of skin off the knuckles now. Cheers kiwijim

Had a chat to Col, Bright itself is all made roads, would not need chains there, but into the hills(unmade roads) yes, and if you want to say go to Mt. Buffolo, yes. Have not been there in winter myself. Understand about the heater, I drive an Echo, uber tiny but I love it. Father in law was a Toyota mechanic all his life, regretably not around now. He was an expert with Toyotas.
