Reckon I'd be open to taking the entire 11 off your hands (I like to keep spares of stuff handy). What would you charge for each of them if i took the entire 11? And postage would be to 2481...

We have just bought an old viscount pop out caravan and need to replace our catches. Just posting this to see if any are available anywhere that could be posted to Branxton NSW in the Hunter Valley. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Catherine and welcome These catches are getting harder to find but as you've read they do come up occasionally.Just a matter of waiting for members that have some to post. Dont know if Wickedcat(Chris) has any left ,hopefully for you he has!(dont worry about the paint its very easy to get off) If not maybe try Hodgson Caravans in Newcastle NSW or Gawler Caravans in Gawler SA Good luck with it Andy  |

Gav, just wanted to let you know officially that I received all the catches - they're great. Just happen to be the EXACT colour I was after - so what you call mustard is what i call tan and ALL'S GOOD. THanks for a quick and easy sale! All the best....

Hi
I am new to and now a member of this site due to smashing a cupboard latch on our Viscount GT into about 6 pieces after returning today from our first family trip in the van. I have just stormed inside and asked good ol Google to help me and came across this forum-all be it an oldish one. So...just wondering if anyone out there has at least one brown Viscount latch and catch up for grabs?

These latches are available from caravans plus website.
They are remade stronger than the old ones with a stronger base section that screws to the door. I have purchased some for my van and I am very happy with them.
The original ones become very brittle and break easily.
They are not cheep but very good quality.

What are they listed under on the CaravansPlus website? When I look for these latches, I still get the CaravansPlus page saying they are no longer available: Viscount catchesI know they are listed on ebay by Plastic Replacement Parts in Toowoomba, Qld. cheers, Al. |
