Alice Springs is close to Toowoomba when you're in London! Bob, when you say "just down the road" does that mean "just down the road from Surfers Paradise"? So, we're talking about somewhere in the Coolangatta area, maybe?? [ps. I had one of those longboards when I was a surfie in the '70s. The first "big trip" after I left high school was to Coolangatta, for the surf and the girls (...ended up being more 'the girls', if I remember correctly ). Stayed at Bilinga on the north side of Coolangatta, back in the days when Greenmount was an old timber building on the point.] cheers, Al.

Good morning Atog and Al, Atog your right with Noosa. Where the pics were taken was at the end of Hastings Street camp ground. That place has sure changed since then. The nearby country town is Eumundi. I thought the pics of the couple of pubs were a dead giveaway as there still there. So looks like your up ;D ;D Cheers Bob

Your pretty close Olfarts, but not quiet there.
A clue to the name of the town is also similar to the nick name of a type of accommodation,
now theres a dead give -a -way, come on you West Aussies, don't let this slip back over to the East A G A I N . ;D ;D ;D
