Hi members,
Below are links to events/weekends that Classic Caravans members may wish/like to attend in 2016/17. Some are run by other organizations ie car clubs, vintage machinery collectors etc and some will be run by Vintage Caravan forum/s or even Facebook groups.

Xmas Dinner in July will be at 6.00pm on Saturday Night 29 July at the Canungra Hotel with open fireplace, set dinner of roast turkey & ham, roast & steamed veges, plum bpudding, tea/coffee/bonbons for $22/person. Hotel has courtesy bus that will take us in batches to the Pub & back home again. We will need definite numbers for dinner in advance in this thread & people can pay Dosse & Christine in the Camp Kitchen between 4.00-5.00 on Saturday afternoon then get ready for bus by 5.30pm.

Date: 12-13th August 2017 Mudgeeraba Showgrounds.
Weekend Camping: $40 for 2 people which includes the event pass. Showers & toilets available. Power is limited and is on a first come basis.
Bump in Friday 11th Aug anytime from 9am-5pm.
Bump-in Saturday 12th Aug strictly 7am-8am only- sorry no exceptions! The Show gates are open from 10am.

Laidley Chrome & Clutter Festival SE Qld.
This is such a great event which we have been attending over the last couple of years. So glad to hear it is going ahead after the earlier cancellation. There was a fantastic turn out of Vintage Caravans last year so hope we can achieve that again especially since all the festivities will be right on our doorstep and not forgetting the town garage sale bargains!! Clarence Valley Motorfest
Clarence Valley Motorfest is on again this year and will be held at The Grafton Vintage Motor Vehicle Club grounds, Jabour Park Oval, Minden Street, South Grafton. Please note that it will be held on the 25th and 26th of August this year. Vintage vans are welcome to arrive on Friday and leave on Monday and can camp on the display grounds. Sites will not be powered but generators will be allowed with restricted hours. Hot showers, toilets, food and coffee stalls on site. $10 entry plus $10 camping.
