General ACT camper information:Here are photos showing the outside and inside of an ACT camper. The year of this particular camper is not known, however the rounded Hella tail lights suggest it is earlier than 1977:

Possible late 1970s ACT camper:The following camper was listed on ebay as a "1978 Chesney campervan", but it seems to have more in common with an ACT camper than a Chesney. The front curve on the body mould is different to the flat front of the campers above, but the side body mouldings look similar. The four seasons hatch on this camper, and the moulded ribs on the roof, suggest it is from the later 1970s or after...

Hi all,there were 3 act campers(Australian Camper Trailers)forget what the small one was called,but it was a basic 4 berth softop,then the cruiser,then the largest was the Consort which was available with a hydraulic lift. They also built pop tops,smallest being Bambi and I cant remember the rest!! There was a guru of camper trailers around in the 80s that could do wonders with campers,his name was Trevor Eastman,probably still around in Melbourne somewhere. Cheers hughdeani
